University of Puget Sound Fieldhouse Flea!

March 22nd, 10am-4pm. $5 entry fee goes to student scholarships. It’s a super fun event with a surprising array of incredible things! Our 80 plus booths include antiques and repurposed items, new and vintage clothes, books, toys and jewelry, local creatives and makers with candles, salves, plants, letterpress, prints, cards, and so much deliciousness. We have yummy take away food inside and a fabulous Food Court right outside. There are treasures for everyone!

Tacoma Wayzgoose!

May 2nd and 3rd from 10am-5pm at the Main Branch of Tacoma Public Library (1102 Tacoma Ave. South, Tacoma, WA.)

Tacoma Wayzgoose is a community letterpress, printmaking, and book arts extravaganza. Meet local printers and view their wares, print your own keepsakes, make paper and bind books. A highlight of the weekend is steamroller printing, where local artists carve 2 x 3-foot sheets of linoleum and print on giant paper. It's pretty cool.

39th Summer Art Festival in Gig Harbor, WA.

The 39th Peninsula Art League Summer Art Festival is a two-day outdoor event attracting over 7,500 visitors to the Gig Harbor Peninsula with a showcase of juried artists and artisans. This year's festival will be held, once again, at Sehmel Homestead Park northwest of downtown Gig Harbor.

Proctor Arts Fest!

Proctor Arts Fest is a community-based street fair on N. 26th & Proctor St. This event is organized by a group of local volunteers and is free to the public. Gig Harbor High School's annual TideFest brings in artists and high-quality artisans from all over the Northwest. Over 100 artists sell everything from glass art, sculpture, pottery, jewelry and clothing to paintings, wood products and leather bags. The festival raises money for the school's activities and athletics programs, including the Speech and Debate team and the school newspaper.

Artistry of the Pacific Northwest

Saturday October 12, from 1-5pm

This is a great event! 14 local artists, live music (they are wonderful!) lite bites and refreshments. All of the artists will be there, and all of the work is available for purchase.

I’ll be there with a number of framed works including some new prints.

Three of them are 1/1 Artist proofs with Remarques! (Remarques are hand drawn images by the artist in the margin of the print.)

Gig Harbor Summer Art Festival: Saturday and Sunday July 20-21

You are invited to the Peninsula Art League’s 38th Summer Art Festival, July 20 & 21, 2024. We’re thrilled to announce a change of venue to better accommodate the growing interest of artists, vendors, and community. The 38th Summer Art Festival will be held at Sehmel Homestead Park — a beautiful, centrally located park with lots more room for the booths, food, music, the addition of a beer garden, and the more than 15,000 art lovers the festival attracts from the Puget Sound area.
